Banner Advertising Questions. How are ads displayed on this site?
Ads are displayed on a rotating basis (except for page-targeted ads). That is, if there are ten banners currently in the rotation, each will be displayed, on average, once for every ten pages called by website visitors. If our current average is 30,000 page views per day, each banner would be seen about 3,000 times per day. Your ad remains in the rotation until the number of days selected has expired.
The goal of Welcome Home Black Hills banner web advertising is not to annoy readers but to get them to click on your banned ad, this will take them to your website. Please keep that in mind when designing your ad banner.

Discounts
Discounts are offered for runs of 3 to 12 months when entire run is pre-paid.
- 3 to 5 months — 5%
- 6 to 11 months — 7%
- 12 months or more — 10%

- Size: 120 wide by 600 high

Banner Ad (Right Side)
- Size: 120 wide by 240 high
- Maximum file size: 25 kb
Graphic Format
Graphics should be correctly sized in .GIF or .JPG format. If simple resizing is required, there will be an additional charge of $20.00 per graphic. Any additional editing required is billed @ $80.00 per hour.
Use unique file names, such as: yourcompanyname_1.gif
DO NOT NAME THEM ad1.gif, banner.jpg, or the like. If you do, they might get lost or overwritten Terms:
Advertising is not considered accepted and banners will not be scheduled for inclusion until payment has been received and cleared and ad graphics have been approved.
All rates are in U.S. dollars.
Western Sky Media reserves the right to approve the content and design of all banners prior to the beginning of the ad run.
